“Therefore, if any man is in Christ, he is a new creation: old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” This bible verse reflects the life story of famous Nollywood actress Patience Ozokwor, who became born again in 2016 after having a spiritual encounter with God and fasting for 30 days.
According to Patience Ozokwor, it was difficult at first to connect with her daughter about her decision to honor God’s call by going into evangelism right away, but she eventually came to understand.
It’s been 6 years since Patience Ozokwor had her life-changing encounter with God, and as a huge fan of the actress, I’ve observed a few things about her:
1. She No Longer Wears Makeup
The first thing I’ve noticed is that she doesn’t wear makeup anymore. Patience Ozokwor used to love to wear makeup before she gave her life to Christ, but she hasn’t done so since 2016. Taking such a decision would be difficult for many ladies, but Patience Ozokwor has obeyed God’s instruction.
2. She No Longer Wears Trousers
Another thing I’ve noticed about Patience Ozokwor is her outfit. The seasoned actress no longer wears trousers to interviews or any other occasion. She generally wears simple gowns and skirts these days.
3. She is no longer wearing jewelry.
Patience Ozokwor was known in Nollywood for her love of beautiful jewelry during her reign. Anytime she walks the Red Carpet, her jewelry takes center stage.
However, since giving her life to Christ, she has stopped wearing all of her expensive jewelry. She no longer wears anything more than a plain wristwatch.
