Sometimes, when we sit and watch our favorites Nollywood movies or tv shows, we begin to think about the whereabouts of some of our favorite actors and actresses. What they are currently doing and why they have decided to disappear from the spotlight. However, you might be surprised to find out that some of these actors and actresses have decided to leave or take a break from the movie industry, so they could focus on their normal jobs or pursue a different career.
1. Saint Obi
Nollywood actor, Saint Obi was once a very popular actor during the early 2000s. He was one of the most important actors who appeared in several action movies that were released then. Some of the popular movies he featured in include “Take me to mama”, “Festival of Fire”, “More than a woman” and several others. In an interview, the actor revealed that his decision was so he could focus on other aspects of his career. Saint Obi is currently an entrepreneur who owns several businesses, and he is also a philanthropist.

Georgina Onouha was an actress who ruled our tv screen for a very long time, and we enjoyed watching her movies. However, she decided to leave the Nollywood movie industry to became a health care worker in the United States.
3. Empress Njamah
Beautiful Nollywood actress, Empress Njamah is among the Nollywood stars who left the movie industry in order to focus on her boutique company known as “House of Empress”.
