1. Jay-Z and Beyoncé

Jay-Z and Beyoncé are regarded as some of the most popular musicians in the world. The famous American rapper, songwriter, and businessman, Shawn Coney Carter, popularly known as Jay-Z visited Nigeria with his Superstar wife, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter in 2006.

The reason for the visit is because the then-Governor of Kwara State, Bukola Saraki invited the rapper, to come and commission a road in the state, which was later named after the rapper.

2. R. Kelly

Famous R&B Singer, Robert Sylvester Kelly, professionally known as R.Kelly visited Nigeria in 2009 on his African tour. He performed in Abuja and Lagos, and the fans who attended the musical event weren’t disappointed by his performance.
