Some prominent Nigerians have lost their children to dangerous illnesses along their career line. This is always painful but no one has control over the forces of nature. 1. Remi Surutu:
She is one of the Nollywood actresses in the film industry who lost her child to a deadly disease. She is indeed a good actress but death took away her daughter at a young age. Her daughter named Ayomikun died as a result of Sickle Cell anemia disease. Several medical attention was given to revive her but it was all futile.
2. Idowu Phillips:
This is a Nollywood actress who has graced and continues gracing our screens with her funny character. She is indeed a strong woman as she lost her child named Osborne Sola due to ulcer complications. The same actress also lost her husband and still managed to handle the serious incidents without breaking down.
3. Yinka Adebanjo:
Yinka Adebanjo is another Nollywood actress who also lost her son two months after the demise of her husband. Her son called Abdullateef Adeniyi Isola Adetomi died at the age of 28 of an illness related to High Blood pressure. Yinka Adebanjo made this known in an interview she had with Citypeople Magazine.
4. Eucharia Anunobi:
Eucharia Anunobi is also a popular Nollywood actress who is very versatile in the film industry. She lost her son to an illness caused by Sickle cell anemia. The actress was emotionally down as a result of the incident but recovered with time.
5. Mr. Ibu:
Mr. Ibu is one of the actors who made our days as kids and is still doing well in the Nollywood film industry. The actor lost his son named Emmanuel Mandela Okafor to a brief illness in the hospital when he was just 2 years old. He revealed that the negligence of the hospital caused his son’s death but there was little he could do.
