Nollywood Actress Omotola Ekeinde makes her fan shed tears
Veteran Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has made a fan shed tears after a post shared on her Instagram page.
The actress had shared a review of her recent movie titled ‘LockDown’, which premiered a few days ago, and an Instagram user stormed the comment section sharing his experience.
The post reads: @cinemapointer Recommended. Except for its tiresome & excessive length, ‘Lockdown’ is a winner. It is Bold. And it is Brilliant. It combines a unique-for-Nollywood story with very good & effective story-telling. Serenades everything in great acting & serves them to you accompanied by slices of humor from Josh2funny that are – Surprise! Surprise! – ACTUALLY FUNNY. Yes. Shocking! But his comedy actually works in ‘Lockdown’. Good thing he doesn’t appear in his usual state & attire.
Ultimately, ‘Lockdown’ is a very enjoyable movie but at two hours thirty minutes, e looooong! Curious Question for the producers: In ‘Lockdown’, there are instances where News-like TV screens/scenes are used to expand the narrative. Why do all the news tickers (text appearing at the bottom) read: “The Movie Lockdown announced the death of Kobe Bryant”? @kobebryant.
Reacting the Instagram user identified as thisiskingsal showered encomium on the actress, saying she’s one of Nigeria’s most valued citizens and assets.
The fans appreciate Omotola for bringing tears to his eyes while watching the movie ‘Lockdown’ because it reminds him how he lost his loved ones during the lockdown period in Nigeria.

Thank you for bringing a few tears to my eyes while watching ‘Lockdown’. Those of us that lost loved ones during the lockdown felt this a different way. Thank you, and I hope you receive your flowers while we still have you with us.
