However, did you know that there are some Nollywood actresses who are certified engineers in Real life? Yes, you heard me right, some of the Popular female faces you see in movies are actually engineers.

1. Tonto Dikeh:

Tonto Dikeh is no doubt a popular figure in Nollywood. But not everyone is aware that the multi-talented actress is an Engineer. Despite being so good at acting, Tonto Dikeh graduated from the prestigious Rivers State University of Science and technology which is located in Port-Harcourt. She finished with a Bachelor’s degree in Petrochemical Engineering, making her a certified Petrochemical Engineer. However, for someone with such credentials, she could easily get a good job anywhere. But instead, she followed her passion for acting, and today, she is no doubt one of the finest Nollywood Actresses.

2. Chizzy Alichi:

Another female engineer in the Nigerian movie industry is Chizzy Alichi. It might interest you to know that the 27-year-old actress and model completed her basic and tertiary education in Enugu state. She graduated from Enugu State University of Science and technology. And to cap it up, Chizzy Alichi finished with a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, making her a certified Agricultural Engineer. Similar to Tonto Dikeh, Chizzy Alichi’s credentials would easily fetch her a good-paying job but she opted to pursue a career in Nollywood. 

3. Etinosa Idemudia:

Another Nollywood star who is an Engineer is Etinosa Idemudia. The popular movie actress attended Covenant University, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer engineering. And this makes her a certified Computer engineer. However, before going into acting fully, Etinosa had worked as an engineer for various companies.
