Cross Ikechukwu Okonkwo has talked about why he address the Presidential candidate of the PDP as his father.
He made all the revelation while speaking with Blessing Enenaite of Punch NG in a fresh interview. The BBNaija reality star disclosed that he has had very cordial relationship with Atiku and even lived together with his kids.
He took care of him to some extent while he shared the same bed with his kids. Cross added after spending some family time with Atiku, he is convinced that he has good intentions for the youth of Nigeria and qualifies to be his dad.
Atiku Abubakar was rated by Cross as the finest candidate for president. When asked why he addressed Atiku as his father he said;
“I have known him (Atiku) for many years. Me and his children have lived together and shared the same bed. When I did not have anywhere to go, he took me in. He has also taken care of me to an extent. That is the true definition of family. I know him very well and I believe he means well for the youth. I also think he is the best presidential candidate. I was attacked after I made that tweet (about Atiku being my father), and I wondered why.”
Again, here was what he said after he was quizzed whether he called Atiku his father for monetary benefits.
“If I eventually go into politics, it will be for the benefit of my constituency. However, I don’t want to become a politician because I don’t want people to insult me. I cannot collect money from Atiku, and I have never collected money to campaign for any politician.”
