A Month After My Children Went To School In London I Noticed They Were Not The Same – Sola Sobowale

Sola Sobowale, a veteran Nollywood actress had a chat with Chude Jideonwo were she revealed the reason behind her long hiatus from the Nigerian movie industry, Sola Sobowale told Chude Jideonwo that her children and the quest to give them a good and sound education was the cause of the hiatus. Sola then went further to explain what she meant.

Sola Sobowale said her husband used to work in human relations (HR), so she knew how they usually categories the universities their applicants attended, with this in mind she made up her mind that her children would either attend University of Lagos, University of Ibadan or Obafemi Awolowo University. But because of the constant ASUU strike she decided to make them school abroad.

She said she took them to London and enrolled them in school and came back to Nigeria, she said she was monitoring them but one month after she went back to England to visit them she noticed that they were not the same children she took there, she said she noticed that the motherly touch was not there anymore so she decided to forget stardom and stay with her children in London.

In essence, Sola Sobowale said the reason for the long hiatus was to nurture and take care of her children, guide them, give them the best legacy and make them somebody in life. She said to God be the glory today all her children are successful and they are now working, she said they thanked her for sacrificing for them and told her it is time to go back to what she knows how to do best, so that is why she is back in Nigeria.
