Christ Apostolic Church Corpers Fellowship, Kano DCC, Medical Outreach 2019

Friday, 13th September 2019, will always be a significant date in the history of the old and ancient town of Kazaure, Jigawa and her locals as they witnessed a massive medical outreach organized by Christ Apostolic Church Corpers Fellowship, Adelaja Regional Headquarters, Kano DCC. Notably, no fewer than 100 persons were beneficiaries of the outreach which inlcuded free medical consultation and assessment, distribution of relief materials, amongst other things.

The two-day program, which was organised by above mentioned fellowship, proved an overwhelming success as people from all nooks and crannies of Kazaure and its environs trooped out in numbers to the memorable event to benefit from the quality medical services provided by the outstanding medical team from the fellowship – which was consisted of 10 medical personnel in total; all of whom are corps members.

The program which began on Friday 13th September, 2019, kicked off with a praise night with the Pastor in charge of Christ Apostolic Church, Kazuare, Pastor Afolabi, leading a powerful revival/deliverance session.

The President of the fellowship, Abiodun Shonibare, during the outreach, emphasised on the need to conduct a life changing program, while touching the lives of the inhabitants of the locality. He further stressed the need to leave a lasting legacy for the ones to come.

According to the General Secretary of the Fellowship, Felix Olowokere, the outreach was aimed at catering for and improving the health of the residents of Kazaure while offering treatment options for the less privileged, winning souls for Christ and making a significant difference.

Suffice to verbalize, the corps members had a thrilling and wonderful experience, and were deeply connected, both directly and indirectly, to the children and adults’ travails- their growth, challenges, resilience and optimism.

The outreach proved to be a great success as souls were won for Christ, and happiness was brought to the faces of the people.
