Etinosa Idemudia is beautiful, creative and highly talented Nollywood actress. She is gifted in interpreting roles in movies brilliantly and can as well accept any character assigned her by movie producers and directors in the industry.
Etinosa Idemudia was born on the 9th of March in Warri, Delta State. Her father, Sylvester Idemudia is a retired group general manager of Greenfield Refineries (NNPC Group) while her mother, Patricia Idemudia is a reverend and founder of Victory Group of Schools.
Etinosa had her primary education at Victory International School, Warri. After obtaining her First School Leaving Certificate, she enrolled at the Cambridge International School, Warri for her secondary education. She also attended Igbinedion Education Centre, Benin, Edo State.
She further gained admission to study at the prestigious Covenant University, graduating in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering.
Upon her graduation from Covenant University, Etinosa started working as a Planning Engineer with Delattre Bezons Nigeria, a subsidiary of Entrepose Contracting.
In 2013, she began posting her
comedy skits on Instagram. The skits helped in bringing her to limelight and in 2016, she won the Best Online Comic Act at the 2016 Scream Awards.
In 2016, Etinosa quit her engineering job to venture into full-time acting. This was after she had obtained a Diploma in Performing Arts from the Royal Arts Academy, Lagos, Nigeria.
She debuted as an actress in a minor cameo appearance in ‘A Little White Lie‘, a movie which was produced by Emem-Isong. Since then, she has starred in several notable Nollywood movies and TV series including ‘Corpershun‘, ‘Love in the Wrong Places‘, ‘Alter Ego‘ and ‘Chairman‘.
Etinosa got married at the age of 22 but that turned out to be one of the worst decision she has made. She had suffered from domestic violence in her marriage. She revealed in an interview with Broadway TV that comedy was an escape route for her after years of being tortured by her husband.
Etinosa Idemudia had won numerous awards such as: Best actress at 48 hours film project (2016) and Best Online comic act at Scream Awards (2016).
