There are many Nollywood actors today who are known by their movie names, the name became popular after they used it to feature in a movie.
Many people don’t know most of these Nollywood actors by their real name, some of them are known through their movie names. For example, if you mention Rachael Okonkwo, many people may not know her, but when you mention Nkoli Nwa Nsukka , everybody will surely know her.

Funke Akindele is a Nollywood Actress who is popular known as Jennifer. People started calling her Jennifer after she featured in Jennifer’s Diary. In the tv series, she displayed her talent , she made lot of people to laugh through that movie.

The Nollywood legend , Nkem Owoh is also known as Osuofia. People started calling him Osuofia after he featured in a movie called “Osuofia in London”. Today, the name Osuofia is more popular than his real name.
3) Patience Ozokwor :
The Nollywood actress , Patience Ozokwor has featured in many movies over the years. She is also known as Mama G. The name became more popular after she was addressed as Mama G in a movie called “Old School”.
4) John Okafor :
The Nollywood actor, John Okafor usually plays comic roles in movies, you must laugh whenever you are watching his movies. He is also known as Mr ibu, the name became popular after he featured in a movie called “Mr ibu”.
5) Rachael Okonkwo :
The Nollywood actress, Rachael Okonkwo is very talented, she has featured in many movies across the country. She is also known as Nkoli Nwa Nsukka. The name became popular after she featured in a movie called “Nkoli Nwa Nsukka”, she displayed her dancing skills in the movie.
