According to Simi, Adekunle Gold was chasing her all over Facebook and stalking her during her gospel singing days. However, she never knew he was a singer just like her. She knew him as a photoshop king.
2. How The Couple Brew Themselves Into Stardom With Music The Same Year: After Simi and Adekunle Gold met, they became ordinary for some years but eventually found interest in each other and started a relationship.
Adekunle Gold supported and listened to Simi’s songs at her early stages. From there, they started supporting each other’s craft and making and Simi made her first hit song titled “Tiff” in 2014 which was nominated for Best Alternative Song at The Headies 2015.

However, in 2019, the two stars made their relationship open and official after they tied the knot and said their marriage vows in a quiet and lovely wedding ceremony with a few people in attendance.
In June 2020, the couple started a complete family lifestyle after Simi welcomed a baby girl and named her Adejare calling her “Deja” for short. The toddler has grown and is currently a year old and 4 months.
