Grammy Award winning Nigerian singer, Burna Boy has shared video of himself and friends drinking Champagne from his Grammy plague.
This comes days after his plague was delivered to him from the US.
Newsnownaija recalls that, Beyonce and Jay-Z‘s 9-year old daughter, Blue Ivy earlier created an iconic look sipping from her award plague.
The first-born child of Beyonce and Jay-Z added to her list of accolades Sunday by winning her first Grammy Award for best music video for “Brown Skin Girl,” on which Blue Ivy is credited as a featured artist, making her the second-youngest person to win a Grammy.
Proud mum, Beyonce, shared a glimpse of her daughter celebrating her big win on her verified Instagram page. Like a queen, Blue Ivy looked very regal in her crown when she posed for the sweet photograph, sipping out of her first-ever Grammy Award.
In the recent video which has since gone viral, Burna Boy si seen pouring the drink into the plague as she takes a sip, then hands it over to his friends to also take. Watch below:
