Lagos Government Denies Claims Of Governor Sanwo-Olu Being Stoned After Super Eagles Match
The Lagos State Government has reacted to an alleged video capturing the moment Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu was being heckled after Super Eagles match against Lesotho in Lagos.
The match took place on Tuesday, March 30. Reacting to the video, Gboyega Akosile, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor described the video as fictitious. According to him, that was not Governor Babajide’s convoy and cautioned netizens to stop throwing dust into people’s eyes.
He tweeted;
This is wrong, totally false. This is not Governor @jidesanwoolu’s convoy. Let’s stay away from spreading falsehoods. I’d implore you to correct your wrongful publication.
