A young man has allegedly killed his 4-month pregnant wife for money rituals a few months after they tied the knot.
According to popular Instagram blogger, Instablog, a man identified as Nnanna Emeka is currently on the run after news broke that he allegedly killed his 4-month pregnant wife for money rituals. The incident was said to have occurred at the Ugbele Mgbidi area of Imo State.
The incident is said to have happened on the 3rd of July, 2021 just three months into their marriage of the couple. Reports also say that the man initially planned to take his wife on a false date to kill her at the location, however, the wife refused to go with him on the date.
According to reports, the wife sensed some unusual changes in the attitude of his husband which made her refused to go. However, when the wife refused to go, the man killed her in the house and carried her body to the location where the alleged ritual will take place.
According to a source, “He wanted to take his wife out on a date, and then, probably take her to somewhere and k*ll her. He would have come back to cook up stories to cover his track. But unfortunately for him, the wife refused to go out with him.”
“Just a few days before, she had told a friend that for the past week her husband’s character has changed, that she doesn’t understand him anymore. So, we believe that’s why she refused to go out with him” the source added.
