In an exclusive interview she granted BBC News Yoruba, Mrs. Oladimeji said the twins came as a surprise to the family because they were not expecting it.
During the interview, she alleged that her husband advised her to dump the female twins in a popular estate because of their weak financial resources to take care of the babies.
She recalled how they approach motherless home in Akure to put twins there but were rejected because they didn’t meet up with conditions to accept them.
“My husband left the house the day Moyin and Doyin were not admitted into motherless home. Out of frustration and financial challenge, my husband didn’t not return home until Moyin and Doyin clocked one year, two months”.
“The painful part is that my husband requested to sleep with me the day he returns after a year which I denied him. He left home back and never see him. Moyin and Toyin are above 20 years now”.
Mrs. Oladimeji stressed that it wasn’t easy nurturing Moyin and Doyin when her husband abandoned her with such responsibility.
She recalled how she fed the twins with malnourished food when they were young but thank God that she has overcome all the challenges now.
