The parents (especially mothers) of students in a New Jersey school have called for the school authorities to fire a particular female art teacher because of the way she dresses.
The teacher who is curvy is well known for wearing tight clothes and taking pictures of herself at school and posts them on Instagram. The teacher who is simply known as The Art Teacher on Instagram had over 700k followers.
The parents demanding that the be fired said that the way she dresses is a distraction to their children, who are her students.
The parents are divided, as some are not in support of the teacher getting fired because of her dressing, rather they think she should wear clothes that do not show her curves.
The teacher is, however, confident and no action has been taken because, under the New Jersey and Federal labour law, it is illegal for a school to fire a teacher because of their physical appearance
