Rasheedat Ajibade Replies Man Who Advised Her To Stop Posting About Jesus & Her Religion

Nigerian super star forward, Rasheedat Ajibade who plays for Club Atlético de Madrid Femenino, the women team of Atletico de Madrid has finally addressed the recent unwarranted criticism she received from some fans after her latest post match reaction on social media.

The Super Falcons of Nigeria prolific and versatile dazzler, Rasheedat Ajibade has been known over time for her expression of love and gratitude to Almighty God and has also been an ambassador for propagating the gospel of Christ with most of her post on her various social media handles.

This was more noticable in the last Women Africa Cup of Nations tournament held in Morocco where she was spotted on several occasions wearing underwear with different bible verses and inscription, whenever she scored goals or been awarded the Player of the Match award.

There is no wrong or crime in this as everyone is entitled and have the right to any religious believe as she is not the first to publicly express and show her profound love for her religious faith and believe, with the like of Brazil’s legendary Ricardo Kaka among others also did this during their active football career.

With the new football season set to get underway in a couple of weeks, Atletico Madrid faced Bayern Munich in a club women’s friendly match on Friday and the 22-year-old Nigerian forward was named in the starting eleven.

The Spanish side proved to be no match for their German opponents as they won the match two nil, with Ajibade scoring the second goal of the match with a fine header.

After the match, she took to social media to celebrate the win and dedicated her goal to Jesus.

This did not sit well with everyone. Many criticised her for always posting about religion and even advised her to stop posting about it as she might lose some endorsement by doing so.

The Spanish based forward has now quoted one of her critics and replied the man who advised her to stop posting about her religion because of endorsements. She told him to stop worrying, as the endorsement will still come.
