There are Nigerians who have been fortunate to be uplifted by other people, of which Salle is one of them.
A video of Salle, the 17 year old hawker with a lovely voice, went viral. This caused her to be noticed by Nigerians, though she is yet to share the good news of who exactly has helped improve her standard of living.
Apart from Salle, there are also other Nigerians whose lives have been changed positively by the help of people who picked interest in them.
1. Joseph Oluomachi Opara
In June 2020, Hope Uzodinma, the governor of Imo State, Nigeria, picked interest in a 9 year old hawker, identified as Joseph Oluomachi Opara after a viral video of him singing with a pleasant voice, surfaced online. The governor adopted the young child and offered him a scholarship.
2. Onyinyechi
In July 2021, Onyinyechi was seen by Toyin Lawani’s husband, Segun Wealth, walking along the street with her sister.
He followed her to her home and found out they weren’t living well, which pushed him and his wife to contact someone who offered the girl and her siblings a scholarship and free house rent.
The little girl who showed interest in modelling is also signed to Toyin’s modelling agency.
3. Chinenye Eucharia
Destiny Etiko recorded herself with a 17 year old girl who spoke about how much she loves her. This made Destiny pick interest in her.
The girl who has shown interest in acting has embarked on her first movie shoot with Destiny who has adopted her.
