The Sad Truth Why Nollywood Comic Actor Osita Iheme Isn’t Married

Famous Nollywood actor Osita Iheme better known as Pawpaw for the role he played in the 2003 comedy movie “Aki na Ukwa” is not yet married as all the news surrounding his marriage are all rumours. Osita Iheme who is no longer getting any younger is not yet ready to walk down the aisle with any lady as he is still single and doesn’t even has a girlfriend talk less of fiancée.

Most of the friends in the circle of Osita Iheme are all married including his longtime friend and colleague in the Nigerian movie industry Chinedu Ikedieze. The 39-year-old actor does not seem ready to walk down the aisle with his heartthrob. Maybe he could still be searching for his special one on the single market. But does it mean they is no lady out there that got Osita Iheme eyes on or does it mean he is absolutely not ready to get married even though he is fast approaching 40 years old.

He has been constantly pressured by his family and colleagues to get married but all indications tell us he is not ready for such journey. According to him he will only get married once he meets the right person, especially someone that will respect him, love him sincerely and accept him the way he is. According to him, he doesn’t care if the lady is rich or poor, famous or infamous, short or tall white or black.

Osita Iheme popularly known as Pawpaw is a famous Nollywood comic actor, motivational speaker, entrepreneur, comedian and a television personality. He is a baby dwarf and acts mostly as a kid in several Nollywood movies due to his small stature and physical appearance.

He was born on 20th February, 1982 in Mbaitoli, Imo State in the south eastern part of Nigeria. He is currently 39 years old. He completed his primary and secondary education in Owerri, Imo State in the south eastern part of Nigeria and went further to Lagos State University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Arts.

Osita Iheme joined the Nigerian movie industry popularly known as Nollywood in 2001 and rose to fame in 2003, after starring in the Nollywood blockbuster comic movie “Aki na Ukwa” a movie he starred alongside with Chinedu Ikedieze, where he played the role of Pawpaw. In 2007, Osita Iheme received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the African Movie Academy Awards. He has often been described as one of the best actors of his generation and also one of Nigeria’s most famous comic actors.

Osita Iheme is the founder of a powerful Non Governmental Organization known as Inspired Movement Africa. A movement set aside to inspire and stimulate the minds of young Nigerians. In 2011, Osita Iheme received a national award by the Nigerian Federal Government as a Member of the Order of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, which happens to be the highest award given to a celebrity who has contributed immensely to the economic growth of the country.

In 2014, Osita Iheme received an award for Best Actor in Nigeria at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards. He is also the New Generation Ambassador for Rotary International and the Author of an inspirational book titled “Inspired 101”.

Osita Iheme has acted in more than 150 movies. Some of the movies he has acted include Aki na Ukwa, Jadon, Stubborn Flies, Boys from Holland, Forgive Me Father, The Billionaires, amongst others. His small size figure makes him to stand out amongst other actors and made him a unique actor.

Osita Iheme aside from acting is also a serial investor and a philanthropist. He has several real estate businesses, charity organization and foundation, which is aimed at helping and assisting physically challenge and displaced people.
