1. Tonto Dikeh
Nigerian actress, Tonto Dikeh, trended after she made a controversial post on parenting. Tonto Dikeh advised parents to always wash the private parts of their children and inspect them once they get back from school.
She said that this is because children who get abused are usually threatened not to speak about it.
2. Timaya
Popular Nigerian singer, Timaya, got a lot of people talking after he was accused of hit and run. He was called out for hitting a lady and leaving her in a pool of blood. Timaya took to his social media to give his side of the story. This had a lot of people, including celebrities weighing in.
3. Harrysong
Nigrerian singer, Harrysong, trended after he took to social media to let people know about a lady who was trying to blackmail him with a tape of him sleeping with her.
The singer said he had paid the ‘runs girl’ multiple times, but she kept threatening him with posting the tape to the public.
4. Korra Obidi
A lot of people got wowed after popular Dancer, Korra Obidi’s husband took to social media to announce their divorce. The announcement came barely a week after Korra delivered her baby, which made it more shocking.
5. Kemi Afolabi
Nigerian actress, Kemi Afolabi, became a topic on social media after she announced her health condition.
She announced that she was diagnosed with Lupus disease and was told by the doctor that she had 5 years to live.
6. Davido
Davido trended on Twitter after a Twitter user accused his signee, Peruzzi, of being the real father of his child. Davido, who felt bad about it, took to his page to drag the user. The Twitter user eventually debunked his claims and apologized.

Actress, Genevieve had a lot of her fans worried after she made multiple disturbing posts on her social media page.
The popular Nollywood actress seemed to be going through some things unknown, as she talked about the spirituality of mental health.

Veteran Nollywood actor, Mr Ibu, had a lot of people talking after a video of him being sick surfaced online. He was seen in the video complaining to his daughter about the drugs he was given.
A lot of fans got worried and wished the movie icon a quick recovery.

The first time singer, Ruger, trended in March was when he was assaulted on stage by a female fan.
The singer also trended after he dragged a popular Nigerian DJ, DJ Dimplenipple, for calling out his record label boss, D’Prince.
10. Annie Idibia
Finally, there was a lot to talk about after Annie Idibia’s eldest brother called her out on abandoning and maltreating him. Annie Idibia took to her page to debunk his claims and also reveal how she had been treating him with love.
