When it comes to delivering a child, of course, The place most people see as the most appropriate is the hospital. This is because delivering a child is something very serious that should be handled professionally.

Although, there are so many reasons why this happens. Some people decide that is the best way for them, while some just happened unplanned due to one reason or another.

 

Some celebrities have also been able to pull this off. Some of them gave birth to their child at home and not in the hospital. Below are 3 of these celebrities.

 

1. Teyana Taylor

Teyana Taylor, who is an America singer and songwriter, delivered her second child at home in 2020. That was not the first time the singer experienced that.

 

In 2015, she gave birth to her first daughter in the bathroom. 5 years later, she gave birth to her second daughter the same way.

 

2. Korra Obidi

Nigerian singer and dancer, Korra Obidi, delivered her second child at home in March 2022. The singer went live on Facebook right before her delivery, and the whole process was recorded. Korra Obidi’s home birth seems to be due to her husband being a doctor.

 

The dancer gave birth to her second child through water-birth with the help of her husband.

 

Her husband, Dr. Dean Justin, who is an American doctor and sport therapist, noted that the process was fast, and it took two and a half hours. The doctor added that his wife, Korra, is very strong as she wasn’t worried and powered through the delivery.

 

Four days after delivering her child, the dancer took to her social media page to show her fans what she looked like before and after her water-birth.

 

3. Lauren Wood

American singer and songwriter, Laureen Wood, welcomed her child in her home in February 2022. She delivered the child in her bed with the help of her husband, Odell Beckham Jr.

 

Speaking on the delivery, Laureen talked about how she pushed the baby out of her on her own bed.

 

She added that it was a 3-hour home delivery.

“My son was so good and gentle to my body during a 3-hour home delivery”, Lauren Wood said.
