The Nigerian entertainment industry has produced great, and gifted actors who have token after their parent professions. However, in today’s articles, I will sharing with you list of Actors who as well venture into movie industry just like their parents. Popular actors like, Femi Adebayo, Kemi Kosoko, Priscilla Ojo and others also picked interest in their parent “acting” profession

1. Yul Edochie

Yul Edochie is currently one of the most sought actors in the country. The Nigerian activist and film director took after his father’s profession at a tender age. According to him, he is happy whenever he sees his Dad, Pete Edochie performing on the screen as such he then began to pursue his career as an actor.

He began his acting career professionally in 2005 and has grown to become a Nollywood superstar. He has been featured in more than 200 movies both in English and Igbo indigenous movies.

2. Femi Adebayo

Femi Adebayo popularly known as Jelili took after his father’s professional at the early age of 11 years old. The Nigerian supporter actor and lawyer have been seen on the screen alongside with his father. Femi Adebayo is very intelligent, hard-working, and of course good at what he does best.

3. Mide Martins

Mide Martins is another distinguished actor that took after her late mother, Funmi Martins profession. She took after her mother in all ramifications, we can say Mide is indeed a carbon copy of her parent.

Mide however, came into the limelight in 2004 after the death of her mother and she has since then produced and directed over 100 movies.

4. Regina Daniel

Regina Daniel is one of the youngest Nollywood actresses in the industry who picks interest in her parent’s profession. The beautiful actress started movie making at the age of seven; her mother (Rita Daniels) who is a superstar in the movie industry shown her great love for her daughter’s career. She also got support from her siblings, her first movie was Marriage of Sorrow.

5. Gabriel Afolayan

Gabriel Afolayan is a multi-award-winning Nigerian actor and singer. His stage name is G-fresh, and he is the younger brother of the widely acclaimed movie producer and director – Kunle Afolayan. The award-winning actor took after his late father, Mr. Adeyemi Afolayan’s career. Late Actor Adeyemi popularly known as Ade love; a movie producer and director.

Gabriel Afolayan is also a relative to popular actress Toyin Afolayan, and Aremu Afolayan.
