Former Davido Worldwide Music (DMW) member Sanni Goriola Wasiu popularly known as Lil Frosh has reportedly been detained by Nigerian police officers in connection with allegations of domestic violence made against him months ago.
According to circulating reports, the rapper who was sent packing from Davido’s record la bel was invited for questioning on Thursday, February 4, but has reportedly been in police custody since he made his appearance.
It will be recalled that the artist’s ordeal began on Monday, October 5, 2020, after the manager of her girlfriend, Gift, made public allegations that he had been physically abusing her.
An image showing the swollen face of the bride also appeared on social media and sparked many backlash and demand for justice on her behalf.
Amid the uproar, Davido’s label also released an official statement in which it severed ties with the artist and made his stance against domestic violence clear.
