Singer Runtown has dropped a huge bombshell on social media by revealing that he’s the one who penned the 2014 Afrobeat banger, ‘Aye’ for Davido.
It has been circulated, albeit in a small fraction that the song was the product of a ghostwriter but apparently, it turned out to be no other person than Runtown. This piece of information came to the fore after Runtown had an interaction with his fans on social media.
During his brief Answer and Question session on Twitter, one fan asked Runtown if he has any idea who wrote the ‘Aye’ song which was one of the biggest songs in 2014 and beyond. He then that’s there’s nothing wrong in writing a song for another artiste, perhaps to avoid the fury of Davido fans who might be offended.
He answered saying;
I Wrote It. And Also Co-Produced It. Nothing Wrong In Using Song Writers If You Write Song For Me And I Like Am I Go Sing Am.
