Amidst several controversies trailing the marriage of Nollywood actress Rita Daniels to younger lover Zuka Larry, the son of the actress, Sammy West has justified her mother’s action.

The marriage of the actress, which recently took place in Delta state, generated mixed reactions from many social media users.

Many netizens slammed the actress for marrying a young man after giving out her daughter Regina Daniels to aged Nigerian billionaire and politician Ned Nwoko.

Giving reasons for her mother’s action, Regina Daniels, brother in a post shared on his Instagram story, revealed that in his family, the young marries the old and the old marries the young.

According to Sammy West, it’s an abomination for two old people to marry themselves in his family.

He wrote: For my family young dey marry old!!! Then old go marry young… nah abomination for old to marry old. Up next.

Newsnownaija reported that Regina Daniels is not supporting her mother’s marriage, as she didn’t attend the traditional wedding.

Also, her daughter is yet to share photos of the traditional wedding on her Instagram page or congratulatory messages.

However, her brother has taken to his social media page to bless the new union of her mother, Rita Daniels, with her young lover, Zuka Larry.

Commenting on the post shared on Instagram, Regina Daniels’ brother prayed that the union of his mother would never die.

He wrote: Your union will never die mom.
