A Nigerian man has pointed accusing fingers at veteran actor and politician, Kenneth Okonkwo and his Nollywood colleagues saying they are the cause of the rising rate of ritual killings in the country.
The Twitter user identified as Mazi Okesigo made this blame game after Kenneth Okonkwo took to his Twitter page and shared a photo of him posing with actor Kanayo O. Kanayo and Bob Manuel Udokwu and revealed that they have made huge sacrifices to reach where they are in life now.
“We’ve all paid huge sacrifices to be here”
His post stirred a myriad of mixed reactions from social media user and some concurred with Kenneth’s claim that they have made sacrifices indicating that sacrifices are in their DNA.
Reacting to the photo, Mazi wrote; “Weather we believe or not, the seeds for the wave of ritual killings we see in Nigeria today we’re down by this men and their movies…I love them though but the generation who watched this men back then are the generation more involved in rituals”
