A young Nigerian lady is in a buoyant mood after she became N2.5m richer shortly after saying ‘Yes’ to her boyfriend’s marriage proposal.
According to the skincare specialist who shared this memorable moment captured in a video on Instagram, her man ‘conspired’ with waiters at the restaurant they went to have lunch to pull the magic words ‘Will you marry me?’ on her.
The lady had no idea her man had attached strings to the proposal as he put an amount of ₦2.5 million in an envelope which he gave to the waiters to be handed over to her shortly after she agreed to spend the rest of her life with him.
The boyfriend could be heard saying in the short clip that the money is her reward for being there for him when he was nobody and saying YES to his marriage proposal.
In a similar development, a Nigerian lady has said her decision to ‘flex her muscles’ at a young man who asked her out has backfired.
According to the woman identified as Ayanfe, the guy asked her out last month, but since it’s ‘scripted in the women’s manual’ for women to always reject advances from men from the onset so they don’t appear cheap, she took a cue from that and acted accordingly.
Ayanfe admitted she’s crushing on this guy too but pride made her reject the man in consonance with the aforementioned theory. Unfortunately for her, the guy was not ready for such games, so he stopped sending her messages and likely blocked her number.
