1. Marvin Park

Marvin Olawale Akinlabi Park, simply known as Marvin, is a Spanish professional football midfielder who is currently playing for the La Liga club, Real Madrid, and the Spain national junior team.

Born in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, to Nigerian father and a mother of South Korean origin, Akinlabi joined Real Madrid six years ago. He made his senior debut with the reserves three years later, coming on as a second-half substitute for Miguel Baeza in a draw match against Las Rozas CF. He made his first team La Liga cap two years ago, replacing Rodrygo in a draw match against Real Sociedad.

With the Spanish national junior team, Akinlabi represented Spain once at U19s in a friendly lossing game against Italy U19s three years ago.

2. John Nwankwo

John Chetauya Nwankwo Donald is a Spanish soccer player who currently plays for Elche CF Ilicitano as a central defender.

Born in Murcia, Spain, to Nigerian parents, Nwankwo, in 2015, joined Villarreal CF’s youth setup from Real Murcia. He made his first senior appearance with the club four years later, coming on as a second-half substitute in a winning game against CF Recambios Colón. Two years ago, he was signed to his current club, Elche CF, scoring his first senior goal for the club in an equalizing game against Hércules CF.

3. Mujaid Sadick

Mujaid Sadick Aliu, simply known as Mujaid, is a 22-year-old Spanish professional soccer player who currently plays for Genk as a central defender.

Born in Logroño, Spain, to a Nigerian father and a Ghanaian mother, Mujaid joined Deportivo de La Coruña’s youth setup from Valvanera CD six years ago. In 2017, he made his first senior appearance with the reserves in a winning game against CDA Navalcarnero. Four years ago, he made his first La Liga appearance in a defeating match against Villarreal CF.

4. Andrea Okene

Andrea Okene Bañón is a Spanish football player currently playing as a forward for Valencia. A product of Levante UD youth system, she joined Valencia as the sixth signing of the season last year.

She is of Nigerian descent.

5. Kevin Carlos Omoruyi

Kevin Carlos Omoruyi Benjamin, simply known as Kevin Carlos, is a Spanish soccer player who plays for SD Huesca B as a forward.

Born in Ceuta, Spain, Omoruyi started his professional football career with SD Huesca, making his senior debut in a draw match against Atlético Monzón. His professional debut occurred last year as he started in a lossing game against Girona FC for the Copa del Rey.

Omoruyi is of Nigerian descent.

6. Derik Osede

Derik Osede Prieto is a 29-year-old Spanish professional soccer player who plays as a central defender for CD Alcoyano and the Spain national junior team.

Born in Madrid, Spain, Derik played for Spain under-19 team at the 2012 UEFA European Championship, captaining the Spanish squad to victory against Estonia. With the under-20 side at the 2013 FIFA World Cup in Turkey, he scored a winning goal against Mexico.

Seven years ago, Derik stated he wished to switch international allegiance to Nigeria.
