However, I will be sharing with you some of the celebrities that are in their 70s and are still making waves in the entertainment industry.
•Charly Boy
Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa popularly known as Charly Boy is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, television presenter, publisher, and producer. He ventured into the music industry in 1982 with the highlife single “Obodo GiriGiri” in 1984.
Charles has been active and relevant since he made his debut in the entertainment industry. In 2021, he appeared in King of Boys and released a song he titled “Odudubariba.” The multi-talented entertainer is currently 71 years old and he is still active in the entertainment industry.
• Pete Edochie
Pete is one of the most successful actors in Nigeria. He came into the limelight after he played the role of Okonkwo in the blockbuster movie “Things Fall Apart”.
He contributed to the success some Nollywood actors are currently enjoying in the industry. The 74-year-old actor is still active and has spent over 30 years acting in movies.
•Jibola Dabo
Jibola Dabo is a Nigerian actor who mainly features in Yoruba and English films. The veteran actor made his official Nollywood debut in 2006 and has been featured a lot side famous movie stars like Tonto Dikeh, Ini Edo, late Muna Obiekwe, and many others. The Nollywood actor is currently 79-year-old and still active in Nollywood.
