If Nollywood wants new ideas for big movies, they could start writing scripts on the romantic lives of some of their actors and actresses. There are some beautiful love stories from Nollywood stars that would make great movies.

1. Olu Jacob: A Theater Of Love
Fairytales do come true, especially for these two Nollywood artists whose love stories began at a theater. According to Joke Silva, she met her beloved husband at the National Theatre in 1981, while they were practicing for Professor Wole Soyinka’s Jero’s Metamorphosis. She was to play Sister Rubeka, while Olu Jacob was to play Prophet Jero.
According to Joke Silva, Olu Jacobs once told her he would marry her, but she mistook it for a joke. In 1981, they became friends. Four years of friendship resulted in marriage in 1985. The rest, as they say, is history.
2. Mercy Johnson: Love Is In The Air
“Love is in the air” is a fitting movie title for this pair because they met on a flight. Mercy Johnson met her adoring spouse in 2009, and their marriage is often regarded as the most admired in the entertainment world. According to Mercy Johnson, she met her husband on a flight before fate brought them back together. They dated for a while before getting married in 2011.
3. Julius Agwu: It Was Meant To Be
Julius Agwu first met his lovely wife at a wedding in 2000, when she was 18 years old. She was a part of the bridal train, according to the comedian, and he was the MC. Okey Bakassi, another comedian, competed with Julius for the pride of being the first to ask her out. Julius was smart and made the first move.
Julius and Iberie lost contact for two years after exchanging phone numbers until they met again, became close friends, and married in 2008.

From childhood sweethearts to husband and wife, they’ve come a long way. Their love story is exclusively shown in Korean and Philippine films. Nse Ikpe-Etim married her first and only boyfriend.
She began dating him when she was 17 years old. Even though he left for school, he returned and married her. Interestingly, her husband still loves her even though she may never have children after having her womb removed due to health difficulties. That is true love!
