Merlin A.K.A The Adventures of Merlin was quite a successful British TV series, it consists of five seasons and 65 episodes which started in September 2008 and ended in December 2012. It’s been more than a decade since its first episode was released and today, we’ll look at six of the main casts from Merlin and how they’ve been doing since after the show.

1. Angel Coulby
Angel Coulby is a British actress who was born on the 30th of August 1980, she’s currently 41 years old. She played the role of Gwen, Morgana’s servant, and Arthur’s love interest who ended up as the Queen of Camelot after getting married to Arthur. She started her acting career in 2001 and has starred in several movies and TV series. She played the role of Vanessa Okoye in the recently released TV series, Suspicion. She’s also a singer and currently a mother of one child.
2. Richard Wilson
Richard Wilson is a Scottish actor who was born on the 9th of July 1936, he’s currently 85 years old. He played the role of Gaius, Merlin’s mentor, guardian, and also the kingdom’s physician. He’s starred in dozens of movies, TV series, including stage acting, he played the role of Grayson in the 2021 TV series, Around The World in 80 Days. He started his career in 1964 and he’s been active for 60 years, he’s also a theatre director and a broadcaster.
3. Anthony Head
Anthony Head is a British actor who was born on the 20th of February 1954, he’s currently 67 years old. He played the role of Uther Pendragon, Arthur’s father who hates sorcery and enforced its ban in Camelot. He played the role of Jack Bowen in the 2016 movie, A Streer Cat Named Bob, he also played the role of Sir Simon de Canterville in The 2021 TV series, The Canterville Ghost.
He started his acting career in 1977 and he’s been active for over four decades, he got married to his present wife, Sarah Fisher in 1982.
4. Katie McGrath
Katie McGrath is an Irish actress who made her debut in the movie industry in 2007. She played the role of Morgana Pendragon, the primary villain of the show and also a major threat to Arthur. She’s starred in several movies and TV shows including the 2015 movie, Jurassic World in which she played the role of Zara Young.
She played the role of Lena Luthor from 2016 to 2021 in the American superhero TV series, Supergirl, she also played the role of Saskia de Merindol in the 2019 TV series, Secret Bridesmaids Business.
5. Bradley James
Bradley James is a British actor who made his debut in the movie industry in 2008. He played the role of Arthur Pendragon, the prince of Camelot who later became king and husband to Gwen. He played the role of Giuliano de’ Medici from 2018 to 2019 in the TV series, Medici, Masters of Florence. He also played the role of Varga in the 2016 movie, Underworld: Blood Wars.
6. Colin Morgan
Colin Morgan is a Northern Irish actor who was born on the 1st of January 1986, he’s currently 36 years old. He played the role of Merlin, the main protagonist and title character of the TV series.
He’s been active in the movie industry since 2007 and he’s starred in several movies and TV shows after Merlin. He played the role of Billy Clanton in the 2021 movie, Belfast, he also played the role of Jonathan Kennedy in the 2021 TV show, Three Families.
