Nigerians have expressed worry on social media following a trending video of actress, Queen Wokoma wearing a masquerade regalia for a movie shoot.
Apparently, wearing of masquerade regalia is rumored to be against the Igbo culture and traditions therefore wearing it comes with its implications especially when it is worn not for its purpose.
In this particular video, Queen Wokoma could be seen being aided by some crew members on set as she wears the masquerade mask and in another frame she is could be seen dancing.
A lot of social media users, however, have not taken the video lightly as they raise fears it could back fire due to the spiritual implications and admonish that culture is respected.
