There are so many Nigerian celebrities who have been fatally shot. Some of them were shot by accident, while most of them were almost assassinated, but by the grace of God, they were able to survive.
Currently, they are as healthy as if nothing happened. These celebrities include the following.
(1) 2 faces
On 4th October 2007, 2face was traveling along the Oshodi-Apapa Expressway in Lagos in a car with a couple of friends. Unfortunately, they were attacked by gunmen. 2face, who sensed danger, opened the door to escape, but he was shot in his thigh during the process. Luckily for him, he was carrying a laptop which prevented the bullets from penetrating too much and from damaging his vital organs.
After the ugly incident, 2Face was rushed to Cedar Group Hospital in Festac Town, where he underwent surgery to remove the 22 bullets from his thigh.
(2) Charles Okocha
According to the Nollywood actor, he stepped out of a wedding venue to receive a call and then walked into a group of fans who made some complimentary remarks. A police officer also came around and complimented him, saying that he loved Charlse’s movie and therefore he would shoot into the air as a form of salute, Little did he know that the police officer was drunk. Immediately, he cracked the gun. It fell from his hand and before the gun dropped, some bullets hit Charles. He was later rushed to the hospital where surgeries were performed on him and doctors brought out five bullets from his body.
(3) Angela Okorie
On 12th December, the actress was heading home after a performance. When she was intercepted by some alleged assassins who allegedly shot her multiple times.
The Nollywood actress, Angela Okorie, says ten bullets were removed from her head while two bullets were also removed from somewhere close to her eyes during an alleged attack by assassins.
