We are going to share 4 verses that have literally changed my life and I trust that they will change yours.
Sometimes as we are studying the Bible, there are verses that seems to jump up the page and into our hearts that have significant profound impact on our lives.
Today I just want to share with you 4 of those verses that have tremendously changed my life.
Money can be restored. Property can be restored—broken-down cars, stripped painting, old houses. Relationships can be restored. But one thing that can never be restored is time. Time flies and it does not return. Years pass and we never get them back.
Yet God promises the impossible: “I will restore the years that the locust has eaten” (Joel 2:25). The immediate meaning of this promise is clear. God’s people had suffered the complete destruction of their entire harvest through swarms of locusts that marched like an insect army through the fields, destroying the crops, multiplying their number as they went.
Repents and give your life to Jesus,with a genuine repentance and a total surrounding your life to Jesus, it\’s is very simple and clear that God will restore all your lost years back to you by multiplying them in doubles for you.
1. 2 Timothy 2:20-21
In a well-furnished kitchen there are not only crystal goblets and silver platters, but waste cans and compost buckets-some containers used to serve fine meals, others to take out the garbage.
Become the kind of container God can use to present any and every kind of gift to his guests for their blessing.
Paul basically is saying in God\’s family there are all sorts of Christians, there are some Christians that are used for common purposes and there are other Christians that are used for special purposes, so Paul says the degree in which God will use my life for special purpose depends heavily on me, so I have lust, bitterness, jealousy and anger, all these negative stuff in my heart, I can pray and ask God to do away with all these, I have to cleanse myself of these things that are blocking and hindering God\’s full anointing to flow in my life, so that I can be a special utensil used by God for special purpose.
2. Philippians 2:3-4
Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.
What am I doing for best interest for the people around me, for example family, co-workers or friends, how I am putting their needs and their interest above mine or am I selfishly looking to get something out of this in return or can I continuously give up myself without expecting anything in return, this verse has had a profound impact on how I view my relations with a lot of people and how I live my life as a Christian.
3. Ephesians 3:20
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.
This verse serve to remind me again and again that we serve God that is greater than anything I can ever fantom, whenever we realize how big our God is we start praying bigger vision for our lives and we also start exercising bigger faith.
4. Acts 20:24
But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy and the ministry which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
This verse happens to be my personal life verse, I will encourage you to get life verse as well.
My brothers and sisters there something that you really need to know, that by The calling of the name Jesus, whatever any plans of the enemies against you shall be destroy.
Jehovah God, truly I believe that you are the God who created the heaven and the earth, so therefore there\’s no power to be compared to you, I call upon you father protect me spiritually physically from whatever any spiritual and physical attack in the mighty name of Jesus.
