Five Nigerian male celebrities married to older women

When you are truly in love with another person, age does not count. The important thing is that, you are happy no matter what people may say.

Here we have a few well-known Nigerian celebrities who clearly have fallen into this category. But yet they are proud of their choice and they adore the lady they have in their lives.

I will now introduce a few male celebrities who found love in older women.

1. Peter Okoye and Lola

Peter Okoye the talented singer, is married to Lola Omotayo. This lady happens to be seven years older than him.

On November 17, 2013, the couple walked down the aisle and became husband and wife, with an exquisite and beautiful wedding ceremony which took place.

“Omotayo is a marketing representative”. And both Peter Okoye and his lovely wife, Lola Omotayo, have a son Cameron and a daughter Aliona.

2. Joseph Ameh and Kaffy

Kafayat Sharafat who is well-known as Kaffy, is a “dancer, choreographer, dance instructor and fitness coach”. She was ultimately known for making her way into the Guinness World Record because she showcased the “Longest Dance Party at the Nokia Silverbird Danceathon in 2006″.

Kaffy, is a mother of two, who married Joseph Ameh, one of P Square’s drummers in 2012. She happens to be eight years older than “Pappy J” as he is commonly known.

3. Dare Art-alade and Deola Ayeni

Dare Art Alade, who is popularly known as Darey, happens to be a “musician, singer-songwriter, and Idol series judge”. Many might know him as the son of the respectable Nigerian entertainer, whom they have come to know as Art Alade.

Dare Art-Alade’s wife is Deola Ayeni. She is said to be eight years old than him, and yet, they have been married for over 12 years.

With more than a decade being happily married, they have definitely proven that age is just a number.

4. Mike Edwards and Perri Shakes-Drayton

In 2019, Mike who is a Reality TV star, a professional athlete and entrepreneur, married a gorgeous British Olympian, by the name Perri in 2019.

“Perri is 33 years old while Mike is 30 years old”.

5. Silver Ojieson and Ann Njemanze

Actress Ann Njemanze was a well recognized actress in the Nollywood industry in the 90s while she was married to popular actor, Segun Arinze. However, they got divorced, and Njemanze was unheard off for quite some time, until she reappeared just a few years ago.

Then in 2013, Njemanze got married to Silver Ojieson in 2013. And she later admitted to reporters that her husband was five years younger than her.

Already the actress has a “teenage daughter from her previous marriage to Arinze”.
