Nri started his acting career at the Royal Shakespeare Company where his first role was in Ron Daniel’s 1982 directional British film, Julius Caesar. He had his major breakthrough after portraying Superintendent Adam Okaro in the detective drama, The Bill.
He is Igbo.

Nonso Anozie’s acting kicked off professionally when he starred in his first movie, Atonement, in 2007. The actor soon became even more famous with movies such as Conan the Barbarian and Cinderella. Apart from the movies, Anozie cut his way into the hearts of many with his numerous appearances in television series, including Prime Suspect, Occupation, and Game of Thrones.
Anozie is originally from the Igbo tribe of Nigeria.
