Hours after speculations swelled about the whereabouts of President Buhari, the Presidency has dispelled the rumors by posting a photo of the president. Rumors began flying on the social media space that the President had been flown abroad for treatment alongside his Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari who tested positive for the novel Covid- 19 virus.
An audio which purported to support that claim also made rounds on Twitter. The official Twitter handle of the Presidency however dismissed those rumors as “Fake News” and posted a photo it claimed was the president working in his office recently.
